My goal in life is to engineer creativity through stories, content & the digital landscape. All, to make you feel...
When I look back on my career so far here are a few things I am proud of:
- Started a t-shirt company while in studying Mechanical Engineering + Political Science in college
- Wrote editorially for 2 years at an online entrepreneurial publication, ExitEvent
- Freelanced as a social media manager for 2 years
- Created a side hustle in my old creative storytelling content hub, Espirer
- Co-founded a social media + content creation agency, TheCreativeExchange & ConceptKitchen
- Strategized & ran the global social media at DC Shoes

Still reading? Good, here is my story.
I was born and raised in Raleigh, NC, where I lived up until mid June of 2018 (now in LA 👋🏾). I went to N.C. State where I earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and minor in Political Science, but guess what?
I use neither. Content Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Photography, Storytelling, Strategy, & Social Media have all become my new passions.
While in my last two years of school I felt a deep desire to try and create something. To, instead of being another cog in the preverbal wheel (go to college, get a good job, retire), act and try to create something of value.
After reading the book, "Start Something That Matters," (in the middle of one of my classes) by the founder of TOMS, I realized that I was no longer happy with my job prospects. At the time I was working for CAT, the construction company and had a solid foothold on a solid job after graduation.
I turned it down in order to pursue...a life of my own design.
The past 3 years of my life I devoted myself to my startup TheCreativeExchange, where I am proud to say I grew infinitely as a leader, at my craft, and in understanding the nuances of utilizing the digital landscape to help improve brands.
Also during these past few years, I have been fortunate enough to connect with so many brands and on a personal level to create content as well as provide direction for them.
In June of 2018, I decided to drop it all and move to California for a new challenge and a fresh start. Through my work at TCE, I was able to land a gig at DC shoes.
Most days you'll find me hard at work at various coffeeshops, roaming art museums, walking the streets with my camera and coming up with ideas.
I am a lover of people, creativity, and stories.
If you're looking for a, new, creative spin for yourself, your brand, or company, let's make some magic together.
